Street & Experiment account: @itch.ban

You may have noticed that I've been shooting a lot more street & city life. I've always had a soft spot for Street Photography. There's a fleeting candidness that is very alluring to me - little authentic slices of life & time that are captured forever.

As far as photography technique and style goes, it's a completely different ball game. You have to be observant, invisible and always quick on your feet (so to speak). Capturing these moments usually takes a lot of luck mixed with skill & quick reflexes as you only get one chance. You need to be able to feel the flow of the city and it's people to anticipate scenes before they actually play out.

Like they say: in photography, speed is about anticipation, not technology. Your photography gear will only get you so far.

It's also very common to be out all day shooting the streets to come home with no usable shots - something that is both supremely frustrating and satisfying at the same time. This is a genre that I'm relatively new in so bear with me and come along for the ride.
