Through the Lens: @samuelelkins
Another one of my favourite photographers have made it onto Adorama's Through The Lens series on YouTube. Seems like I have a lot of favourite photographers these days. I dig the film look of Samuel Elkins (@samuelelkins) and his general aesthetic. His colours, tones and lighting are all so subtle.
From what I can gather, I think he uses the VSCO film presets as a base for his edits.
At 19 years of age he's already racked up 427,000 Instagram followers which is beyond impressive. He's the type of photographer that makes me want to sell all my gear and quit. That feeling you get when someone else's work is so good it makes you feel bad in the best kind of way... if that make's sense.
Enjoy the vid!

series has moved: ITCHBAN.TUMBLR.COM
Hi friends. Just checking in to let you know that I've decided to move Visual Inspirations series (see below) off to it's very own Tumblr blog. Most of the images in the visual inspirations series are sourced from Tumblr anyway so this just made more sense.
Do check it out - on desktop if you can. The blog looks best browsed on a large desktop monitor:
Yep - I lost two whole years worth of photos and videos. I didn’t take my storage workflow seriously enough and I paid the price. I’ve since revamped my entire workflow from the bottom up, and have come up with a pretty great solution.
