If you binge through my Japan series too quickly I’ve put together a list of my favourite shows of all time. I’ve purposely picked some lesser known, wierder shows because why not. No real point in me recommended you to watch Game of Thrones or shows like that at this point.

MY FAVOURITE TV SHOWS

ATLANTA (FX)
IMDB (8.6/10) - 2 seasons (ongoing)

This is by far one of my favourite TV shows ever (top 5 for sure). The style, film aesthetic and realness of this show makes it the most unique show I’ve seen in a long time. It features Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) and is directed by Hiro Murai (the guy who did the viral “this is america” music video).

FORMULA 1: DRIVE TO SURVIVE (NETFLIX)
IMBD (8.6/10) - 2 seasons (ongoing)

Ok, you’re not into F1 - but hear me out. This series is really well made and is addictively watchable even if you’ve never cared for F1 or motorsports. The series is more about the people, the extreme high stakes, money and adrenalin involved. I’ve recommended it to a few friends who hate motorsports - and now they’re hooked. Give it a go.

LEGION (FX)
IMDB (8.3/10) - 3 seasons (finished)

This show is another wierd one. It is technically a “Marvel” series follows the son of Professor X from X-MEN BUT it couldn’t be further from another one of of those marvel superhero series. It’s well directed, has a super strong aesthetic and style and is wierd in the best of ways. Again - it is not another superhero series.
